We use Python, Django, Bootstrap, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch and more. We instrument our code liberally with analytics so we can see what’s happening. We release daily. You will be responsible for entire projects, from working with a Product Manager and UX Designer on the problem being solved, possible solutions, the UI design, implementation and analytics. You should possess a mix of technical strength, business strength and good product ideas.
Collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers to design product experiences. Build web applications in Python/Django, including front-end (user interfaces) and back end. Continually improve our technical stack and processes. Maintain existing tools and infrastructure as necessary. Mentor junior engineers We're looking for someone who:
Understands the end user and can create simple, elegant solutions Loves to learn and develop new skills continuously Thinks about why something needs to be built not just what needs to be built Has a strong sense of ownership in every application they build Is comfortable with full stack web development or are willing to build skills in both front-end and back-end Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent). At least 2 years of experience with rapid-development web technologies, and excited to work with Django / Python. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Previous entrepreneurial / start-up experience a plus. Job Type: Full-time
